Blue Jersey Giant Pictures


         

Pictured above are a week-old Blue chick and 3-week-old Blue chick.
The week-old is pictured with a pint waterer for size reference, the waterer is 5" tall.



         

The Jersey Giants above are 4 months old in these pics: A hen on the left, and a rooster on the right.





Here is a 6-month-old pullet, Queen (meaning Queen of the Coop)
She is a good example of a black-laced Blue hen - look at the definition on her blue feathers,
like they are outlined with black. That's the lacing!




Here is part of our our original adult flock that came from Texas.
Mr. Beefy is pictured with several of his ladies, excuse the guineas in this photo-
They had learned they could get into the chicken pen and annoy me, so that is what they set off to do!




I call this pic Which-Way hens, since the hens are facing opposite directions!
